Fifeville Special Partnership Application
Do You Qualify?
Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Applicants must currently live or work in the Fifeville neighborhood.
- Total household income (before taxes) is between 25% and 35% of Area Median Income (AMI) as defined annually by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (see income chart below)
- Be a first-time homebuyer or have not owned a home within the last 3 years
Income Qualification
In order to qualify, your entire household income must be between 25% and 35% of the Area Median Income in Charlottesville. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) releases these income limits each year.
If your gross monthly income (before taxes and deductions) falls within the range, then you may qualify:

Application Deadlines
- We will accept applications beginning April 7, 2025
- Be sure to submit your application early! Applications are reviewed as they are received. This application cycle will close when staff have identified suitable buyers for the homes.
Application Information Meetings
All applicants MUST complete an Applicant Information Meeting (AIM) before submitting their application. You may register to attend an in-person AIM below. If you cannot attend an in-person AIM, you may watch the AIM video recording. All applicants must also take the AIM quiz before submitting their application.

Proposed Fifeville Home Designs
Habitat has 3 available homes in the Fifeville neighborhood. Two of the homes are a new construction duplex. These will be located on 6 1/2 Street. One home is a renovated duplex (1 available unit) that has been renovated by Habitat. This unit will be located on Paton Street.
