Founded in 1893, Better Living, Inc. has supplied building materials to Central Virginia for over a century. Today, the company's 110 employees operate out of three locations (soon to be four with the addition of a new lumber yard at Zion Cross Roads) providing building materials, millwork, trusses and name-brand furniture. The company and its employees have a long-running relationship with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville. In the summer of 2006, Better Living took the lead on Habitat's most exciting project to date, Builders Blitz. They facilitated and coordinated donations for five of the six homes that were built in just one week! |
