Building neighborhoods

HFHGC continues to grow in building environmentally friendly and sustainable homes.  Through generous grants and donations, recently we have started building to Earth Craft Standards.  Energy efficient design will ultimately result in more affordable utility bills for our Partner Families with homes currently under construction.

Additionally, we are partnering with our sister non-profit organization, Creative Housing to build mid-income housing!  They are providing affordable homes for sale to the teachers, policemen, firefighters, and nurses who we rely on every day.  In addition to being able to purchase a home, these families will also be able to help provide more affordable homes to their neighboors as the small profit made from the sale will help fund future Habitat construction.
